  3. Select the room and visual style.
  4. Add optional direction for the design.

Compare a farmhouse living room redesign

Upload a living room photo, leave Full redesign selected, choose Living room and Farmhouse, then add a direction such as “keep the fireplace and use warm painted timber.” Generate the concept and move the before-and-after slider across the image to compare the original room with the farmhouse concept.

How the comparison works

The tool sends your room photo together with the selected room, style and task to an image-generation service. Full redesign keeps the room layout, windows and doors in the request. Style change keeps the furniture arrangement and room layout while changing the visual direction. Virtual staging adds room-appropriate furniture while keeping the walls, windows and floor. The result is shown with the original photo in a comparison viewer.

Reading the results

Use the comparison slider to inspect the original and generated concept at different positions. Treat the generated image as a visual direction for finishes, furniture and atmosphere, not as a measured plan. Each result is marked as a conceptual visualization.

Limitations and common mistakes

  • AI images can change proportions, invent details or misplace openings. Do not use them for measurements, structure or permits.
  • The result may not preserve every piece of furniture or detail, especially with Full redesign or Virtual staging.
  • A room photo is required, and image generation may be unavailable if the service is not configured.
  • The tool can require payment for some tasks, depending on the current availability and account limits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I compare my original room photo with the AI result?

Yes. The original photo is used as the before image, and the generated concept is shown in a before-and-after comparison viewer with a slider.

What is the difference between Full redesign and Style change?

Full redesign explores a broader new look while keeping the room layout, windows and doors. Style change keeps the furniture arrangement and room layout while changing the style.

Can the tool furnish an empty room?

Yes. Choose Virtual staging. The tool adds room-appropriate furniture and decor while keeping the walls, windows and floor in the concept.

What styles can I use for the room comparison?

You can choose Modern, Scandinavian, Japandi, Industrial, Boho, Farmhouse, Mid-century, Coastal, Minimalist or Luxury.

Is the AI room image an architectural drawing?

No. It is a conceptual visualization. Do not use it for measurements, structural decisions or permits.
